ILOCOS DAY 2

On our Day 2- February 13, 2016 wa a very long day tour for us coz we went for at least 7 tourist spots up to Pagudpud.

Breakfast at the Resort

On our way to Cape Bojeador

Inside the Cape Bojeador it has different preserved furniture from the old times. But sorry, I wasn't able to take pictures to what furniture placed there because it was creepy to go inside the rooms.

To the Lighthouse

After the Parola we headed to Kapurpurawan Rock Formation. Its a long walk before reaching the rock formation. But it has options to walk or ride a horse that cost 100php back and forth. But on our part we prefer to walk and enjoy the distance of the spots. Since its a good sunny-saturday, it was totally hot and no trees to cover yet, but of course as a tourist you have to deal with the weather.

From Kapurpurawan to Bangui Windmills- its just a drive-away to Pagudpud Beach

Welcome to PAGUDPUD

Before reaching to the famous Blue Lagoon beach of Pagudpud, there is this BANTAY ABOT CAVE that is like a twin hill that kiss one another that makes them like a cave.

At the BLUE LAGOON. It is their Boracay of the North. Good thing there is swimming after a very long and tiring trip. It is the time to relax and refresh.

The last stop is the PATAPAT BRIDGE. According to Mr. Wikipedia "The bridge is elevated 31 meters over sea level. It is a concrete coastal bridge 1.3 km long and connects the Maharlika Highway from Laoag, Ilocos Norte to the Cagayan Valley Region."

In the end, we were all tired but worth the travel...:-)

La Paz Sand Dunes, Laoag City

The Beautiful Dessert in the Philippines

One of our main goal in visiting Ilocos Region is to experience the 4x4 ride and to try the Sand boarding. Playing in the sand brought us so much joy.

Group picture before divided into 2 groups

Without even knowing at first, it was like easy driving and riding on a sand, but I/we were wrong coz it was so hard to drive and being a passenger at the back was so difficult to handle the rocky-wavy road and it was so scary that the car might roll-over the cliff side:

The view from our 1st stop

On our 1st stop we have to change our 4x4 car coz there is mechanical problem on the previous one. Since, its a little bit delayed we maximize our time to take some picture-worthy from the place:

Our 3rd Stop was at the seashore, cool and calm sea breezes:

Finally our Last stop was the Unlimited Sand Boarding:

What a great experienced and opportunity as well to be in a gifted place surrounded with sands. Thank you for allowing us to play and enjoy these dusty game..wink wink wink
