THE SOCIAL WANDERS: Marso 2016

Delayed

Exactly last year, there was a Peso (P1) fare promo from AirAsia Phils so we grabbed the chance to avail the promo as a group and chose the Ilocos province where the New 7 Wonders City (VIGAN CITY) in the world located. At first, its hard to decide to what exact date to choose, most especially when there is a fast changes of price every hour. So we finally decided the Feb 11-15, 2016 because its a day after the birthday of our friend and its a Valentines day in the middle of our trips. Its kinda new to us, and its for a change as well. So there, one year preparation is too long and we cant wait to travel though. So by October we decided to get the Travel Galore agency to bring us to the province of Ilocos Sur and Norte. We chose them coz we find them the cheapest travel agency and they are located only in Laoag, so no wonder they cant assist us. The time is getting closer, we are also getting panic through arranging the number of persons, our accommodation in Manila after the Ilocos and other stuffs.

So, as days go fast we are finally hit to the date to where we can finally say this is it!! VACATION IT IS!! We depart from our meeting place supposedly 4:00pm but because of some things being left in their respective houses, we left the place by 5:00pm and arrived the airport by almost 7:00pm, thanks God it was not that traffic!!

Our flight is supposedly 9:25pm but because of some conflicts in Manila our time has been change to 10pm plus then to 12mn. It was disappointing to us simply because our itinerary in the first day has a big changes but for me not to be stressed I keep my self calm and positive that we can still travel safe back and forth. Luckily, the driver understand our crazy schedule.:-)

Just Landed to NAIA Terminal 4

Hi Airplane

Arrived at NAIA Terminal 4 very late, its almost 2am and since we are late from our itinerary we drove straight up north. We have to get 9-12 hours drive via exclusive van. So our first official stop-over is in NLEX and after that everyone is sleeping and I am the only person still awake, coz I was sitting in front seat and I dont wanna sleep while no one entertains the driver, so he could not feel asleep I've rather not to sleep as well. Good thing our driver ALEX has alot of energy, and he drive so fast as I did not expecting the time to reach in Ilocos.

We finally arrived in Batac City, Ilocos Sur by 10:30AM, we just ate Breakfast and Lunch as one (BRUNCH) before heading to our First Spot the Marcos Mausoleum-->Paoay Church-->Malacanang of the North. We only chose that 3 historical places because of our very compressed time and I think that is enough to visit in Marcoses place.
